The Food and Nutrition Specialist I provides excellent customer service while performing basic and routine duties and responsibilities in the cafeteria area. Responsibilities include food preparation, displaying and serving food to all guests, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning. Once trained, may also be responsible for ringing up customers at a cash register. Responsible for replenishment of food and non-food supplies, operation of cash registers, completion of cash reconciliation report and cleaning in the cafeteria. Helps provide set-up, service, and clean up for catering functions.
High school diploma or equivalent
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. SDL2017
