JOB SPECIFICATION CHILD NUTRITION III 6-8 THE POSITION Under general supervision, oversees, directs and participates in the ordering, preparation, cooking, baking, packaging, selling and/or serving of food in quantity; maintains food service areas, facilities and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition; and performs related work as required. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Follow health and sanitation requirements. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Work independently with little supervision. Operate a POS system and make change accurately. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: one year experience in quantity food preparation.
