Ensures Front Service staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policy. Ensures that customer's problems/complaints are handled in an effective, courteous manner. Directly oversees staff on assigned shift. Schedules lunch breaks and maintains employee break records. Greets guests quickly and courteously. Seat Guest promptly and with a smile Able to sell guest on all seating areas of the restaurant (i.e. bar and patio) Be aware of table status and control seating times Helps service guests as necessary in a team aspect (May include but not limited to: bussing tables, taking drink orders, rolling silverware, etc.) Knows how to ring up all transactions and all tenders. Assists the Service Attendants/Counter Attendants/Culinary areas when needed. Handles and solves any concerns and questions from customers. Keeps all guest areas clean and neat. Complies with all appearance standards. Enters guests' merchandise in register, takes money from customer and accurately gives back change. Responsible for accurate control of cash drawer. Operates cash register and properly settles merchandise purchase Itemizes totals and presents guests with the price for payment Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.QUALIFICATIONS: High volume dining experience preferred. OpenTable or reservation system knowledge recommended Understands variance policy of cash drawer and maintains low variance 1-year experience in customer service. Must possess basic math skills. Must be able to count cash drawer accurately Must possess excellent customer service/communication skills. Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
