Work is performed indoors and/or outdoors and involves continuous exposure to high and low temperatures, sunlight, fluorescent light, wet surfaces and noise. Work may entail trained chemical usage and constant contact with fellow employees and guests. Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain cigar, cigarette, or cooking smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks will be performed from a primarily non-sitting position (approx 95% standing, walking and 5% sitting). Employees will be required to navigate safely on potentially slippery floors. Tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area or any tasks assigned by senior management. JOB SUMMARY: Cleans and resets tables in restaurants KEY JOB FUNCTIONS : Throughout the shift maintain an adequate supply of china, silver, glassware and other food service accessories at assigned stations. Clears tables of all items when customers have left and places dirty dishes appropriately in dishwasher area. Sets tables for service. Escorts guests from podium to assigned station when needed, in a professional, courteous and friendly manner. Removes unneeded silverware and china from table after seating the guests. Assists and takes direction from Wait staff in order to promote fast, courteous food service to customers. Familiarizes self with food menu and preparation times so that correct information is given to guests. Familiarizes self with, and adheres to, the principles of excellent guest service and interactive skills. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School graduate preferred Previous busser experience preferred QUALIFICATIONS: Literate and fluent in English Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
