As the Revenue Audit Supervisor you will supervise a team of Revenue Auditors to ensure that all work is accurate and complete. Principal Duties and Responsibilities ( Essential Functions) Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training team members; scheduling and motivating team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints; and resolving problems. Ensure all Revenue Auditor responsibilities are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Fill in and perform Revenue Auditor responsibilities as needed. Review audited revenue generated, reconciled cage transactions, and other related cash transactions for completion and accuracy. Investigate and analyze variances within the daily transactions and work with department management to reconcile discrepancies. Track employee variance reports and report to Casino / Hotel department management. Assist in maintenance of the Slot Master in the Casino Management System and input of all pertinent data relating to the systems. Review month-end revenue spreadsheets and systems for accuracy prior to finalizing month close to accounting department. Monitor and track all employee exception reports for the property. Generate, organize, and distribute the daily accounting reports to authorized entities in the required format. Perform necessary point adjustments to guest accounts. Assist with the implementation of new audits. Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining desktop procedures. Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Job Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of revenue audit or accounting experience in a department of similar size are required. A related Associate's degree can take the place of 2 years of experience. Six months of supervisory and/or mentoring experience is preferred. Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office including the ability to demonstrate intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups of team members. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions The noise level is usually moderate. When on the casino floor the noise level increases. The work environment is smoke free, when on the casino floor it is not smoke free.
