We are currently looking for a Maintenance Runner with a knack for fixing things to help out our guests. The Maintenance Runner position will assist in the maintenance needs of all Vacasa properties. You will spend your days traveling conducting basic maintenance in our homes. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Runner with a knack for fixing things to help out our guests. The Maintenance Runner position will assist in the maintenance needs of all Vacasa properties. You will spend your days traveling conducting basic maintenance in our homes. Coming to the rescue of our guests by diagnosing urgent issues in our homes and helping support the guest operations team.

What we’re looking for
The Runner serves as a supporting role to the housekeeping and maintenance teams. Runners assist with some cleaning duties, supply runs, and light maintenance. You will spend your days traveling to properties to assist team members and guests with various needs. This position will run until approximately 9/12/22.

Organize, clean, and maintain stock levels of department storage areas according to company’s cleanliness and safety standards. Deliver requested items to guest units (irons, coffee, paper products, kitchen utensils, etc.).

What we’re looking for
The Runner serves as a supporting role to the housekeeping and maintenance teams. Runners assist with some cleaning duties, supply runs, and light maintenance. You will spend your days traveling to properties to assist team members and guests with various needs. This position will run until approximately 9/12/22.
What you’ll do
Work as part of our operations team to support the day to day, running keys and coming to the rescue of any team member in need!
Use your basic knowledge of maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, fixing blinds and changing light-bulbs.

Correspond on a regular basis via email and phone with the Local team and Central team.
Maintain positive customer and associate relationships: Respond appropriately to guest and associate inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction. Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.

What you’ll do
Professionally clean and maintain Vacasa properties using cleaning procedures and products in conformance with prescribed company standards
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces
Move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind
Assist with laundry as needed
Create a welcoming environment for our guests and owners by ensuring homes are clean and cared for
Identify and note any damages to homes. Create maintenance tickets as necessary
Collect and remove trash and debris
Meet and maintain required Housekeeping metrics
Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings
Replenish consumable items such as soaps and paper products
Maintain hot tubs as needed; no experience necessary - we offer on-site training

Coordination of in-room guest services directory. Handle and service all guests' and owners' needs, i.e., baby-sitters, photographers, florists, dentists, doctors, airline information, shuttle service, car rental, etc. in conjunction with an approved vendor list through the marketing department
Establish, when possible, appropriate commission between the vendors and staff
Ensure that all arriving guests are notified of room availability within the standard time frame
Assist in establishment of guest recognition program, and in the development of amenities and welcome gifts for repeat and VIP guests
Ensure all departments are aware of every aspect of activities and special events within the resort
Establish a weekly listing of all special events, times and directions for guests and guest services staff
Ensure the cleanliness of the lobby, front entrance, and guest registration area
Coordinate with front desk to ensure all guests' requests are handled in a satisfactory manner
Check VIP and owner units for proper cleanliness and condition before arrival
