Job Description

This is an entry level position aboard our luxury tour vessels. Primary duties include

Bartending, cleaning and maintenance of the exterior of the vessel while on dock. While on tour, deckhands will perform a variety of tasks efficiently and with a positive attitude in addition to interacting with owners and guests in a professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Cleanliness of the vessel, wash down, polishing and waxing
  • Assisting the Captain or Mate in maintenance projects, including but not limited to sanding, caulking and painting
  • Continued learning of vessel maintenance, operations and systems, line handling, navigation, safety and overall guest experience
  • Adhere to uniform standards
  • Participate in all docking maneuvers, including jumping or strenuous activity
  • Maintain excellent customer service

Preferred Licenses

  • Merchant Mariner Credential of any tonnage
  • Medical Provider Certificate
  • TWIC

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Maritime: 1 year (Preferred)

  • MAST Permit (Preferred)
  • Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
