Serves drinks to guests in a timely fashion and attentive to guests, making them feel welcomed at all times. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Observes guests to respond to their needs. Follows alcohol awareness procedures regarding company's responsible beverage service, monitors guest consumption, and intervenes as needed according to guidelines. Takes beverage orders and communicates it to bartender. Assists in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests. Serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to casino guests. Requests ID from customers when legal age is questionable. Removes empty or dirty glasses and bottles and returns them to bar or kitchen. Keeps service area stocked and cleaned. Provides fast, exceptional service and receives satisfaction comments on internal shops. Handles money according to procedure and secures all monies at the end of each shift. Maintains quick and prompt service while maintaining a smile. Maintains round times of 20 minutes or less on Casino Floor for drink service. Carries full trays of no more than 20 drinks on tray. Adheres to department and property policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia. Serves as an ambassador of goodwill while working and at guest and public relation functions. Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor. Resolves service problems according to guidelines.
