Job Description

Marla Bakery Restaurant is looking for a well rounded individual able to work in bread, pastry and savory. This position would be a hybrid role utilizing skills and expertise across multiple departments and would be a good fit for someone interested in learning the many different aspects of our multi faceted bakery/restaurant operation.

We are a small neighborhood bakery/restaurant located in the Outer Richmond specializing in wood fired oven baked breads, handmade pastry and seasonal farm driven menus.

Restaurant experience a must and some bakery experience preferred. Wages will be offered based on experience and health care is offered to all employees. We look forward to hearing from you

MARLA is an Acronym composed of the first letters of the names of our family members who taught us to cook and bake. Food does not spring forth from the ether, it is informed and shaped by the past and is as much of a product of a memory as ingredients. We believe food can be our lodestone to those that came before us, bringing our past, our memories, into the present.

Our Food is Thoughtfully Crafted. We use fresh ingredients that are locally farmed and procured each week. Our menu changes often; driven by each season, the environment, locally grown organic produce, meats, fish, flours, eggs, milk, and butter.
