Overview The Utility Worker is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of food, beverage and paper stock throughout the venue. The Utility Worker is expected to complete other tasks related to the maintenance of the warehouse including sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas and cleaning commissary areas. The utility worker is responsible for supporting the beverage department, catering department and concessions department by delivering equipment, preparing support equipment such as clothing and skirting support tables and delivering carts to guest areas in preparation for events. Attention to detail including company standards of inventory control, sanitation, presentation and quality is required at all times. Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on concession equipment as requested and able. Ensure the cleanliness of all concession stands by removing all trash and recyclables. Responsible for rotating food products during the stocking process to ensure the freshest products are being served to guests. Responsible for the upkeep of the warehouse including sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas and cleaning commissary dishes. Responsible for support duties for catering, concessions and beverage department including delivering, preparing and placing equipment for each event to include but not limited to copper tops, spandex, cooking/carving carts, ice, tablecloths, bar table clothes and skirts, cash registers, glassware of all types and any other support equipment delivered or staged for each department as assigned by supervisor or manager. Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance. All other duties as assigned by the managers and supervisors. Qualifications Must be 18 years old Must have the ability to work a variable work schedule (including evenings, weekends and holidays, as required), depending upon event and business requirements. High school diploma or equivalent GED. Equivalent experience may be substituted. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
