Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs. Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions. Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino. Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Serve beverages and prepared food, like breakfast items, pastries, and muffins Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Keep the billy barr and lobby area clean Maintain stock of products and paper items Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs Comply with health and safety regulations Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items Qualifications Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in a positive, attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner. Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
