The Restaurant Front of House Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operation of our fine dining restaurant. This role works closely with their front of house service team to ensure that all aspects of our guest's experience are spectacular and fully in line with our brand promise of 'Extraordinary Coastal Experiences'. The FOH manager will ensure that all staff needs are met and that all financial goals are achieved. This role will work closely with the General Manager to understand goals and to create a plan for a consistently excellent execution of our exquisite dining experience. Regularly collaborate with stakeholders to create, improve, and deliver a seamless guest experience to all Meridian-Headlands guests. Oversees the bar operation and assists with the curation of wine and cocktail menus. Always maintains a professional appearance and demeanor. Assists with the successful execution of special events and banquet service. Responsible for ordering and managing all products needed for the success of the FOH operation. Manages front of house team member labor to budgeted numbers. Works to achieve the sales and budget control goals set forth by the General Manager. Monitoring inventory ensuring that FOH counts are done properly, all items are correct and accounted for, all inventory locations are accurate and up to date, and all inventory numbers are finalized and submitted to accounting no later than by the 2 nd of each month.
