Processing Manager – Food

Full job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily processing operations to meet production schedules while maintaining high product quality.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety, efficiency, and regulatory standards including FDA, USDA, and company policies.
• Supervise, train, and mentor processing staff such as operators and technicians.
• Monitor and improve processing workflows through problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively across teams and with stakeholders to support operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in processing management or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards (FDA, USDA).
• Proven leadership skills in team supervision, training, and development.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
