Full job description

Position: Dining Room Server

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $19/hour

Experience: Prior customer service experience preferred.

Education: High school graduate preferred.

Type: Full-time; Temporary

Schedule: Sunday - Saturday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Flexible Schedule)


Kahu Malama Nurses
 is seeking a Dining Room Server to join a growing and dynamic team!


Job Description:

  • Provide high-quality dining service to residents, members, clients, and guests.
  • Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
  • Accurately input orders into POS system and ensure timely service.
  • Serve food and beverages following presentation and safety standards.
  • Relay customer feedback to managers regarding food quality and taste.
  • Assist with resident concerns related to food and service.
  • Perform side work and assist with opening/closing duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of wait stations.
  • Participate in emergency drills as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook.
  • Uphold the mission and core values of the Arcadia Family of Companies through respectful, patient service.


Position Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of POS systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Dependable, patient, and team-oriented.
