Job DescriptionSupport the growth of the YUM Connect Technology and Innovation Division as they build a platform of core capabilities that enable the acceleration of growth for all brands. Technology will address the current and future needs of each brand with agility, leverage operational competitive advantage to embrace changing market dynamics, and drive towards repeatable, owned capabilities to deliver a simplified, seamless experience. Solutions include eCommerce platform, advanced data science models, and restaurant innovation. Responsibilities: Drive accurate and timely reporting of YUM Connect financial results including period entries, accruals, and plan versus forecast analysis, including legal entity versus management reporting. Prepare period close common reporting package, key deliverables used in periodic, quarterly and annual financial reports, and manage CapEx submissions and approvals Manage current IT time tracking software and preparation of monthly IDC entries. Support commercialization efforts of digital platforms (Data Science models, eCommerce, POS) including input on break even cost analysis and establishment of billing processes. Assist in standing up YUM Connect technology shared service center in India including determining onsite requirements for accounting, statutory reporting, and Tax, including establishment of transfer pricing and cost-plus agreements. Support strategic projects including implementation of new procurement software and new time tracking tool (JIRA) Minimum Requirements: Accounting degree required (CPA preferred). 7+ years public or private industry accounting experience. Business acumen and financial reporting skills. Experience with a large International or QSR/retail Company preferred. Experience with JDE, K-Rise and HFM products a plus. Preferred Requirements: Understanding of intercompany accounting & foreign currency accounting preferred. Strategic thinker and analytical with the ability to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
