Baan Lao is seeking a talented Mixologist. You will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of high-quality cocktails and beverages to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create unique and delicious drink recipes. Responsibilities: • Serve as a brand ambassador for Baan Lao, committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. • Create unique and innovative drink recipes that meet customer preferences. • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and ensuring their satisfaction. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. • Support the service team and floor manager while on shift. • Adhere to all safety and health regulations. • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders. • Create a pleasant, welcoming, and respectful environment for all guests. • Be extremely knowledgeable about every menu item and able to convey a meaningful description for all guest inquiries. • Be comfortable and confident making food and drink recommendations to guests. • Accurately record and relay all food and drink orders. • Coordinate with chefs and bartenders, providing clarification when needed. • Properly manage the flow of each meal for an optimum guest experience. Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year experience as a Mixologist in a restaurant or bar setting and certificate/diploma in Mixology. • Minimum 2 years experience working in 'Fine Dining' • Extensive knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele. • Excellent communication skills. • Math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours. • Familiarity with POS systems for order processing. The Cook will perform the following duties and responsibilities: Cut, slice, chop, dice, and shred vegetables and meats. Ensure meals are prepared promptly following Summerland Indian Bistro & Pizzas recipes, assembly manuals, and charts. Prepare and follow a daily prep sheet to indicate the number of staff and food amounts required. Clean and organize the kitchen at all times. Follow all required checklists and cleaning schedules during each shift. Assure the proper care and maintenance of all the kitchen equipment; identify equipment not in good repair and notify the restaurant manager.
