Housekeeper- FT Day, Stoney Point Meadows

Stoney Point Meadows, a 95-unit senior living community, is hiring Full-Time Housekeepers with 2+ years experience to join our team.  Our senior care campus, which opened in 2019, is nestled in the quiet countryside meadows of southwest Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  In this role, you will help keep the facilities and common areas clean as well as perform light housekeeping duties for our resident's apartments. 

Our ideal candidate is self motivated, trustworthy and hardworking. This role requires compassion for our residents and they must have attention to detail and great customer service skills!

Shift: Days Flexible: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Pay:  $12 - $15/hr depending on experience

Housekeeper responsibilities:

• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain facilities and common areas.
• Perform light housekeeping in resident apartments
• Clean, vacuum, mop, and dispose of waste in assigned areas.
• Maintain equipment, custodial closet, and cart in a clean/orderly fashion.
• Perform additional tasks as needed. 
• Sanitation of Assisted Living Facilities.
• Daily cleaning of main space/tenant rooms.
• Cleaning duties as assigned

Housekeeper skills and requirements:  

• 2+ year of housekeeping experience required. 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working with seniors and vulnerable adults preferred, but not required.
