The Opportunity: We are seeking a Pool Food Runner, an exciting opportunity to be part of Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville! The Food Runner is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Food Runner position assists Servers in providing an enjoyable expertly served poolside experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. Food Runners ensure all outgoing dishes are correctly prepared according to guest's specific requests including dietary restrictions. Food Runners present the food to the guest and are knowledgeable about all current menu options, beverage lists and daily specials. Al fresco enjoyment of the beautiful Nashville scenery from the 7th floor pool deck, this role will have the opportunity to make a stellar mark on both guests and residents who visit. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Explain dishes as given to guests, answering any questions with complete and thorough knowledge of ingredients and preparation Ensure guests have all condiments and utensils necessary to enjoy their meal Work with expeditor to ensure accuracy of food orders Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, glass, and silverware Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests Organize on a tray and deliver food from the kitchen to the pool seating areas Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Experience working in food service or related work Ability to work inside and outside while servicing the Pool area. Subject to all weather conditions including sun, wind, and rain Must be flexible with schedule- Able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays shifts Strong oral presentation skills Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.
