Our client, a commercial real estate firm, is seeking a Private Events Manager to join their NYC team. The hours are 8:30/9am-5:30/6pm (flex for after hours or weekend events) and this role is in the office five days a week. The role supports the Catering Chef Manager to ensure high quality food is prepared, menus and recipes are executed properly and the kitchen staff is supervised in accordance with CDS policies and procedures. These laws include the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as Amended by the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972, and the New York State Human Rights Law. These laws prohibit discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment and sexual violence.
