Special Events Staffing is the premiere temporary staffing agency for cooks, wait staff and bar staff in Southern California because we provide only the finest culinary, wait staff, and bar staff in the industry. Our clients include The Walt Disney Studios, Dreamworks, Universal Studios, Sony, CBS, ABC, Google, The Huntington Library ; Gardens, Wolfgang Puck Catering, and many others. We provide temporary staff for VIP events, movie premieres, corporate functions and private events.

Work is offered all over the greater Los Angeles area, including Hollywood, SFV, SGV, DTLA and the Westside.
If you are looking for flexible, part-time work then this is the perfect job for you. You can book work according to YOUR schedule.

Applicants without the following qualifications and experience will NOT be considered:
• Cooks (starting pay $16.00+/hr DOE) - You must have a minimum of 6 months recent experience in restaurants or catering working grills, sauté stations or food prep. Working a fast-paced grill is desired. Cooks must have excellent knife skills, be able to take instruction, and work quickly. Applicants should have a general knowledge of cooking temperatures and culinary terms.
• Wait Staff/Bar Staff (Starting pay $16.00+/hr DOE) - You must have a minimum of 6 months recent experience in catering or hotel banquets working as a server or bartender.
• Baristas (Starting pay $16.00/hr DOE) - Baristas must also have serving &/or bartending experience as listed above and must have a minimum of 6 months experience making/serving coffee in a fast-paced environment. Must know how to use, maintain and clean coffee machines and equipment. Basic coffee-making knowledge and skill is required. Example: cappuccino, Latte, etc.

From 10:00AM to 2:00PM ***End times subject to change depending on how many applicants are waiting to be interviewed. (Just walk in for an interview any time during those hours).
