PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION The purpose of the Food Service Aide is to work in the cafeteria at the deli/grill and register. Duty 8: Communication- Keeps coworkers abreast of job function changes; maintains accurate job function with the guidance of the management team. Duty 9: Cashier Accuracy - Reconciliation of drawer and deposit within the 5% accuracy standard as established by Sodexo/Department Cashier Guidelines. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food Service Manager to take their next step and provide a great experience for the Holyoke School Department. This position will report to the General Manager and will work closely with the Operations Manager to execute the food service operations for K-12 school meal services. This is a year round position. Pay range: $50,000-60,000 per year as a salaried full-time employee. This position may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position is benefit eligible after the first 30 days of employment. Essential Duties: Ensure compliance with regulations, control costs, and maintain our standards. Keep team updated on menus, promotions, and events. Address maintenance, hygiene, and safety concerns promptly. Align financial performance with resort objectives. Maintain food control systems/margins and menu relevance with the Executive Chef. Perform assigned duties as needed. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Leadership: Overseeing up to 30 positions directly (Sous Chef, Line Cooks, Utility Workers). Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop kitchen staff. Manage kitchen operations, quality, and admin functions. Foster good communication and relationships across the Snowshoe Mountain. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Flexible and resilient attitude towards work situations. Experience: Five+ years in a related role. Food Cost Management Intermediate food hygiene qualification. Proficient knife handling and culinary equipment operation. Knowledge of safe food handling practices. Education: Two+ years of post-high school education preferred, culinary education desirable.
