Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Multitasking: Effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced culinary environment. Physical Stamina: Demonstrate the ability to walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate various areas of operations. The rooftops include 11 buildings across two streets and requires stamina and efficient use of time. Team Management: Supervise a diverse team, providing guidance and support to maintain Levy's high standards of service and sanitation. Collaboration with Chef: Assist the chef in ensuring that cooks adhere to all par, fire, sanitation guides, and cleaning checklists. Task Completion: Ensure that no team member leaves until all assigned tasks are completed, maintaining a thorough and efficient work environment. Food Quality and Timing: Oversee food production to guarantee consistency, timely delivery, and the prevention of food shortages. Effective Communication: Communicate efficiently with operations, cooks, building supervisors, and food line workers, utilizing proper language and radio etiquette. This is essential as a support to operations. We must drive communication. Prep Team Management: Assist in the monitoring of the prep team to ensure tasks are on schedule, par levels are met, and food is properly labeled and stored correctly. Dark Day Responsibilities: Work on non-game days to reset, clean, and stock for the next home stand, contributing to overall facility readiness. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, keeping track of stock levels, and coordinating with the Chef. Holding the team accountable for their station set up with all utensils, equipment, and food stocked before firing for the day. This ensures we are not running around during game days searching for items. Exemplary Leadership: Set a positive example for the team by staying focused on tasks and demonstrating a strong work ethic. Qualifications Proven experience in a culinary supervisory role. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
