Clear dishes, glassware, and silverware as needed, transport them to the dish room, scrapes plates, and places them in designated spaces in preparation for washing. Return dish bin, as needed. Communicate feedback from diners to the Lead Server. Assist Dining Services Coordinator with any assignments or work requests throughout the meal period. Participate in other professional development activities, as required. Attend taste panel meetings daily with culinary staff to be briefed on descriptions of menu items and sample specials and new menu items. Report any suspicion or evidence of elder abuse, mistreatment or neglect. Operate the dishwashing machine and wash dishes manually, as needed. Assist in cleaning the kitchen, as needed. Any tasks assigned, as needed. Requirements Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED. Able to speak, read and write in English. One (1) year of experience in food & beverage in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting. Experience with care and supervision for elders and seniors (6 months or more experience in health care preferred). Physical requirements include but are not limited to: able to lift up to 60 lbs., push/pull up to 40 lbs., carry up to 30 lbs., frequent standing and walking required Trained in safe food handling techniques and sanitation, ServSafe Card required.
