Prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner daily in accordance with menu, recipes, allergies and dietary restrictions of individuals. Cleans storage, food preparation and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions. Wash and dry dishes, take out trashes and broken-down boxes, clean dining area and stock items in serving areas as needed. Performs routine deep clean of kitchen area including sweeping/mopping kitchen floor, cleaning inside and out of reach-ins, cleaning steam table, fryolator, etc. Assists in guaranteeing a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food preparation that ensures safe working practices are followed. Maintains professional boundaries with clients and interacts with them in an appropriate manner. Any other related tasks that are assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior kitchen/restaurant experience preferred. ServSafe certified a plus. Must pass State of New Hampshire criminal background check. Health, food and sanitation knowledge. Ability to work independently with little to no assistance. Excellent organization and prioritization skills. What is the compensation for this role?: $19.00/hour What will you do in this job?: Produce high-quality hot and cold foods based on recipes developed by the Chef and Executive Chef Organize prep station and cold line to ensure smooth and efficient flow Operate dish machine as needed Assist as needed with production of items for banquets, weddings, and other special events Maintain cleanliness of workstation, prep areas, and food storage in keeping with state and federal regulations for food safety Maintain effective communication with service staff, front of house management, and culinary management team Assist other team members where necessary Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties What skills and experience do you need for this job?: Culinary experience preferred, but not necessary - we are happy to train!
