JOB SUMMARY Under the general supervision of the Camp Operations Director, the Housekeeping Supervisor supervises, participates in, instructs, and monitors the day-to-day general housekeeping of the entire campus and ensures all facilities are cleaned on a daily basis. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years' experience performing housekeeping work with at least one year as a lead worker or supervisor. Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform the needed janitorial work. Ability to safely drive a golf cart around the campground. Duties are performed standing and requires squatting, climbing, bending and walking. Any of the preceding duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting. Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) frequently.
