Educational institution located in East Harlem, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Temporary Events Coordinator to support the Education and Conference Center (ECC) team for at least 3-months with the potential to extend. This position will start ASAP before Friday, June 14th and will require a flexible schedule with availability to work on weekends depending on the event taking place. This position will engage with both internal and external clients as this team supports general venue rentals of the building; events include anything from weddings, conferences, educational events and seminars. Ideal candidate has some exposure to events and can work diligently on a small team of 5. Pay rate up to $20/hour.
