Act as a "bridge" between management and hourly team members to facilitate restaurant operation (e.g., keep managers apprised of hourly team members' activities, issues, challenges, etc.). Conduct day-to-day shift supervision and oversee restaurant operations (e.g. assign positions, coordinate breaks, manager checklist completion, counting safe, etc.). Serve as an individual contributor and department role model by performing technical or functional job duties (e.g., accounting, food preparation, room preparation, sanitation standards). Assist in working toward positive financial results through waste control, labor control and guest satisfaction. Assist in maintaining a highly motivated and well-trained staff. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all team members and guests. Be on the floor during entire meal period and ensure adequate coverage (except during your breaks). Ensure that only a quality product is being served. Ensure all side work is done as required. Monitor uniform standards with yourself and team members to include health cards. Continually inspect all areas of the venue to ensure any/all maintenance tasks get communicated to management and completed.
