With an upbeat and positive attitude, cleans dishware, utensils, cooking equipment via commercial dishwashers and manual labor.Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen area.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous restaurant experience preferred.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be a team player.
Possess basic reading skills and understands caution and warning labels, signs and stickers.
Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests.
Washes dishware, utensils, pots and pans and puts them away to maintain the required levels of supplies in the dining room.
Maintains a constant flow of soiled dishes from the service stations to the kitchen.
Completes closing checklist in a timely manner.
Ensures cooking line is free of debris throughout shift.
Empties trash cans and replaces with new liners.
Transports trash to dumpster and operates cardboard compressor.
Adheres to all internal controls, policies, standards and procedures.
Understands performance expectations.
Works additional hours on short notice as requested by management, in order to accommodate one of the following: staffing emergency, employee absence, fluctuation in business levels, special projects, etc.

PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, minimum of 4-6 hrs.
Responds to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to stoop, bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must have the manual dexterity to grab, grip, hold, pour, tear, cut, sort and reach.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing extreme temperatures such as heat and humidity, second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
Must be able to work a varied schedule, holidays and weekends as requested.
