We hope to give them an experience unlike any other they can get in Minneapolis and make it a special place for them. The menu is created and crafted by Chef-Owner Christina Nguyen, who is a two-time James Beard Award finalist. The food at Hola Arepa is best described as Latin American food. Chef Christina pulls inspiration from South & Central American countries, different regions of Mexico, and sometimes Spain. Using Latin and Midwestern ingredients, the food at Hola Arepa is not authentic to a particular country, but many of the dishes that we make are based on traditional dishes from Latin America, with our own nuances added to them.
