Front Office Manager

- Promoted to manager within 7 months of being hired
- Maintains and processes AR clients and payments for the hotel every Friday
- Leads staff of up to 6 agents at a time and holds regular front desk meetings
- Helps set up groups in PMS and collect payment, as well as, process their check in and check out
- Regularly helps Director of Sales with setting meeting room for various functions, walkthroughs of the hotel for potential clients and takes care of any VIP clients and groups personally
- Performs inventory count and order at the end of every month
- Verifies and processes all end of month reports including tax exemptions, M3-PMS reconciliation, etc.
- Constant email and phone communication between management and ownership corporate office to ensure hotel success
- Performs various other tasks and responsibilities as they were assigned by management and corporate and as they presented themselves during daily operation
- Cash handling and processes front desk bank reconciliation every week
- Performs service recovery for all guest issues that could not be handled by front desk employees
- Identifies trends in survey responses/scores and implemented solutions to fix any issues
